24/7 Air Compressor Breakdown Service
Compressor down? Call (02) 4393 1865.
The line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and a technician comes to you.
Wollongong and the Illawarra: (02) 4261 9584
Where we attend
- Central Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter – from Sydney up to Singleton and Port Stephens.
- Wollongong and the Illawarra.
Outside these areas? Call anyway. We service all of NSW and will tell you straight away how soon we can get there.
What happens when you call
- Tell us what is happening. The make and model, any fault code on the display, and what the compressor was doing when it stopped.
- We try to get you running over the phone. Some faults can be cleared safely without a visit.
- A technician comes to site. We work on all makes and models and carry common parts.
- You get a report. What failed, what we did, and what to watch for.
While you wait
- Note any fault code or warning light before you reset anything.
- Do not keep restarting a compressor that trips out. Repeated restarts can turn a small fault into a big one.
- Check the obvious: is the isolator on, and has a breaker tripped?
What we fix
- Compressors that will not start, or trip out under load
- Overheating and high-temperature shutdowns
- Low pressure and loss of air
- Oil carry-over and oil leaks
- Air dryer and filtration faults
- Leaking or damaged pipework
Stop the next breakdown
Most breakdowns we attend come down to missed servicing. A service plan puts your compressor on a schedule and gives you priority when something does go wrong.

Our old compressor at our factory died and Ryan & the team at Adaptive Air Compressors were super helpful and efficient at recommending us a new Screw Compressor & Dryer combo. They got it ordered and Installed for us within a few days helping to minimize our down time. Highly recommend these Guys!!
